Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 8, 2025
This document sets out the rules for processing personal data of users of the SolvumIT.com website (hereinafter: "the Service"). Please read it carefully — it contains information about what data we collect, for what purpose, and what rights users have.
1. Data Controller
The controller of personal data is: Solvum Michał Cendrowski.
Address: ul. Frezji 9A 04-883 Warsaw
Contact e-mail: info@solvumit.com
2. Scope and Sources of Data
We collect data voluntarily provided by the User (via the contact form) as well as data collected automatically (e.g. through cookies and server logs).
Categories of data collected
- contact details: first name, last name, email address, phone number (if provided);
- technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device information;
- user-submitted content: contact enquiries, files, comments;
- preferences and analytical data collected using cookies.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data on the basis of:
- the user's consent;
- compliance with legal obligations (e.g. accounting);
- the legitimate interests of the controller (e.g. analytical purposes, ensuring the security of the Service, pursuing claims).
4. Purposes of Data Processing
Data is processed for purposes including:
- handling contact and enquiries — including sending a confirmation email to the address provided by the user;
- processing the contact form and sending an email confirmation to the user;
- remembering the user's language preferences (language cookie);
6. Recipients of Data and Transfers Outside the EU
Data may be transferred to service providers processing data on behalf of the Controller (e.g. hosting providers, analytics tool providers, payment systems). When transferring data outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (e.g. standard contractual clauses, EU Commission decisions, or other legal mechanisms).
For sending email messages (contact confirmations) we use the mail infrastructure of our hosting provider — SEOhost (seohost.pl), which processes data as a processor on behalf of the Controller under a relevant agreement.
If needed, please contact us for details regarding a specific transfer.
7. Data Retention Period
We retain data for no longer than is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, taking into account legal obligations (e.g. retention of accounting documents). Specific retention periods depend on the category of data and the purpose of processing.
8. User Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- access your data;
- rectify (correct) your data;
- erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten") in certain circumstances;
- restriction of processing;
- data portability (where processing is based on a contract or consent and is carried out by automated means);
- object to the processing of your data in certain cases;
- withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal);
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office).
To exercise the above rights, please contact us at: info@solvumit.com.
9. Security Measures
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or loss — including HTTPS encryption, access controls, and regular backups.
10. Children and Minors
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals below this age without the consent of a legal guardian. If we become aware that a child's data has been collected without such consent, we will take steps to delete it.
